Owned By The Vulture
...........
Rudra Kulkarni,
known in the city’s shadows as "The Vulture," is a ruthless, high-society predator who treats people like assets to be acquired and controlled. He is calculating, patient, and devoid of empathy.
Zoya Kapoor
is an aspiring psychology undergraduate, bright-eyed and full of dreams, whose life is defined by academic ambition and a close-knit family.
...........................
Their tragedy began on a reckless night at an upscale club. In a rare moment of vulnerability and intoxication, Zoya stumbled into Rudra’s line of sight. To him, her unguarded, vibrant spirit was not a person to be respected, but a prize to be hunted. That single, drunken encounter—a moment of lost judgment—became the worst mistake of Zoya’s life, transforming her from a student into the target of a man who considers "possession" a form of devotion.

The boardroom was silent, the heavy air thick with the scent of his cologne. Rudra had trapped Zoya on the long, polished conference table. His legs were locked around hers, his hands gripping her thighs so tightly they would bruise, his face buried deep into the crook of her neck, inhaling her fear like oxygen.
"Ple... please... mujhe jaane do..." Zoya gasped, her body racking with uncontrollable, jagged sobs. "Rudra... please... main mar jaungi... please..."
Rudra let out a dark, velvety laugh, his lips grazing her skin as he spoke, his voice vibrating through her very bones.
"Mar jaogi? Zoya, darling, tum toh abhi jina shuru kar rahi ho," he whispered, his hands sliding firmly to her hips, effectively anchoring her to the table. "Tumhari ye aawaz... ye darr... ye sirf mere liye hai. Do you understand? Ye kamre ki deewarein bhi sun rahi hain ki tum sirf meri ho."
Zoya broke down completely, her forehead falling against his shoulder as she wept openly. "Main... main nahi seh sakti... please... mujhe chhod do..." (I... I can't bear this... please... leave me.)
Rudra laughed again, a sound devoid of pity, filled only with intoxicating triumph. He nuzzled deeper into her neck, his hands moving upward, fingers digging into her sides to keep her completely still.
"Chhod du? Zoya, tumne abhi tak nahi samjha," he murmured against her skin, his voice a low, chilling promise. "Tumne us raat club mein mujhe dekha, aur tabhi tumne apni qismat likh di thi. Tumhari ye ronay ki awaaz, tumhari ye helplessness... ye mera sabse pasandida music hai. Cry, baby. Rote hue tum aur bhi zyada meri lagti ho." (Leave you? Zoya, you haven't understood yet. You saw me at the club that night, and that's when you wrote your destiny. Your sobbing, your helplessness... this is my favorite music. Cry, baby. While crying, you look even more mine.)
